A CE marking project, basically always includes the following tasks:
1. Compiling of the Technical File, or review of the existing Technical File. In practice it turns out, that the Technical File compilation or review is a great "gap-analysis". The objective is to have a complete file that proves compliance with all applicable aspects of the CE requirements. Please note that the Technical File needs to be updated with every product modification, or whenever the directives and standards that have been applied change. We show you how to set up a Technical File in a format that is accepted by the European authorities, and that also can be updated easily.
2. Conformity assessment: This can be in the form of product testing, inspection, hazard identification, risk analysis. The form of the conformity assessment that has to be used is determined by the CE marking directives that apply. The conformity assessment is done in accordance with European harmonized standards where available.

3. Consistency of production. The conformity assessments mentioned under point 2. is typically a type examination. This means that one sample of the product is submitted to a test or assessment, and approved (if found in compliance with the requirements). However, how can you ensure that all the units following the sample are also compliant? We can help you to solve this problem.
4. Authorized representative. The CE marking directives require that a full copy of the Technical File is kept in Europe. When your company is located outside Europe, and you do not have a subsidiary, and you do not want your distributor to have access to all information in the file, you may appoint an Authorized Representative.
